A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Jacksonville died in a crash on A1A and Harbor Drive in St. Johns County, Florida, on Sunday night. The accident occurred when the motorcyclist crossed the double yellow center lines to pass a car and collided with the sedan’s front left side as it turned left onto Harbor Drive. Pilot Error Blamed in Fatal St. Augustine Airport Crash
Two years after a fatal plane crash at Northeast Florida Regional Airport, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has determined that pilot error was the cause. The crash, which killed a flight instructor and a student pilot prospect, occurred when a Cessna 152 stalled and crashed during approach to the runway.
