SJSO investigating death in Dollar General parking lot

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death of an individual in a vehicle at the Dollar General on 207 and Hilltop rd. SJSO said there is no threat to any nearby communities. Details are coming in and police are working to identify the deceased.Any updates will be posted in the smartphone app.

Gamble Rogers school shooting threat – Charges have NOT been dropped against student

SJSO has confirmed that charges have NOT been dropped, and will be headed to the State Attorney in the incident where a student threatened a “school shooting” at Gamble Rogers Middle School in St. Johns County this week. Once parents learned of the conversation, they got involved and alerted authorities.
