Smoke billowing from south of town causes concern for residents

Huge smoke clouds billowing up from south of town caused concern for some residents, who reached out to us to find out what was happening. After reaching out to St. Johns County Fire Rescue, we were told that there was a 150 acre prescribed burn in Faver Dykes that was scheduled to wrap up around 5p Friday.
