Shooting off Kings Estate sends one to the hospital with gunshot wounds

SJSO: “Around 4:00am this morning, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to a shooting in the area of St. Augustine Blvd and Kings Estate Road.  There was one individual who sustained gun shot wounds that  was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Additionally, there is one suspect in custody.  The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office believes this to be an isolated incident with no threat to the community. SJSO’s Major Crimes Unit has responded and an investigation is underway.” One news outlet is reporting that the vicim was a teenager.
