The St. Augustine Book Festival will be held at the Ximenez Fatio House Museum on the first three Saturdays of September 2023. The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 2, September 9, and September 16. The World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine will be closing its doors on September 1. The United States Golf Association decided to relocate the Hall of Fame to its original location in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The Hall of Fame, which was founded in Pinehurst in 1974 and moved to St. Augustine in 1998, is situated in the World Golf Village resort community. Two young men from St. Johns County have been indicted in connection with the shooting death of a man in downtown Jacksonville in May. 19-year-old Ryan Nichols has been charged with first-degree murder, while 18-year-old Daniel DeGuardia has been charged with accessory after the fact.
