A new free bus service called the STAR Circulator is set to launch in downtown St. Augustine on Tuesday, July 11. The bus will provide a circular route around downtown, starting at the Visitor Information Center (VIC) near the clocktower on S. Castillo Drive. It will then travel to Avenida Menendez, making its first stop in front of 14 Avenida Menendez, followed by a second stop on Cathedral Place between St. George and Cordova Streets. The Telugu Association of Jacksonville Area (TAJA) is providing assistance to a family in Ponte Vedra Beach after a man and his son were caught in a rip current at Micklers Beach on Saturday. According to witnesses, the 44-year-old father, Rajesh Potti, attempted to rescue his 12-year-old son from drowning. Both individuals were transported to the hospital in critical condition, but sadly, the father did not survive.
