Four individuals were arrested after a shoplifting incident at the St. Augustine Outlet Mall turned into a high-speed pursuit. The suspects allegedly tried to run over a St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office deputy and rammed multiple patrol vehicles in an attempt to evade the police. The suspects are currently in police custody and are expected to face charges related to the shoplifting incident and the pursuit. The investigation is ongoing. No deputies were seriously injured during the incident.
