Ponte Vedra Beach Postal Carrier Pleads Guilty to Stealing Mail

A contract postal carrier in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, named Kori Ann Moreno has pleaded guilty to stealing mail containing cash or gift cards and throwing away the cards. The theft was reported by multiple complaints in July 2022, and Moreno was caught by USPS-OIG agents opening a greeting card containing $40. During an interview, Moreno admitted to stealing two to three letters a day since December 2021, but was unsure how much money she had obtained.
