However, the First Alert Weather team warned that the weather won’t be letting up anytime soon. Despite the forecast, some businesses, like Casa Reina, were prepared for the weather. Mary Daly continued her morning walks despite the rain. The resilience of the residents and tourists in St. Augustine shone through the rain. “The Amp to Host Abridged Complete Works of William Shakespeare on July 15-16”

The Apex Theatre Studio is partnering with The St. Augustine Amphitheatre to present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged on July 15-16. The show features a small group of performers who weave their way through all of Shakespeare’s plays at a breakneck pace. The show is directed by AJ Allegra and features teaching artists and students from North Florida’s premiere theatre training studio. St. Johns County Family Celebrates Easter Miracle

Two brothers in St. Johns County, Florida, had their wives give birth on the same day at Flagler Hospital. Brooks Hitchcock was born to older brother David and his wife Jackie, followed by Peyton Grace Hitchcock to younger brother Cody and his wife Whitney. Surf Instructor Rescues Shaken 14-Year-Old at St. Augustine Beach

A surf instructor, Parker Sawyer, rescued a 14-year-old girl from the ocean at St. Augustine Beach, but was unable to save the 21-year-old man she was swimming with. The pair were in waist-deep water when they started struggling with the current. The man’s body was found unresponsive about a mile north of where he went missing. The girl and her mother, who were vendors from Michigan, were shaken up by the incident. The man, identified as Gerson, was from Mexico and had made plans to travel back to be with his family. His condition is unknown due to HIPPA laws.…
