98-year-old Edmund Barron, a resident of St. Johns County, Florida, is known for socializing with his neighbors while riding his electric trike. Barron and his wife, Florence, moved to the area in August 2020 and are the oldest couple in their community. The couple, who have been married for 69 years, have five children, 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Barron, a World War II navy veteran, has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis but remains active, recently clocking 4,000 miles on his trike. Despite some health issues for both, the couple enjoys watching home movies and cherishes their long, happy marriage.
