Three years later, man from Pennsylvania charged over deputy-involved shooting in Ponte Vedra Beach

New information has emerged about a deputy-involved shooting that happened three years ago in Ponte Vedra Beach. Richard Bonsell, who is now 31 years old, was arrested and booked into the St. Johns County jail for attempted murder and illegally firing a weapon. In 2020, he was shot in the face during a standoff with deputies.
