App users reported a large police presence after what looked to be a PIT maneuver on US-1 the night before Thanksgiving.
I spoke with SJSO on the scene who informed me that the driver of the blue Ford F-150 on scene was drunk, and driving into oncoming traffic near the Wildwood intersection. At that point the call was made to disable the vehicle, for fear the situation could turn into a head on collision.
There were no injuries reported to officers, the driver, or pedestrians.
