A barbershop in St. Augustine had to be gutted and renovated after a fire in December left the whole shop destroyed. The barbers were left without equipment and work during the holiday season, but thanks to fundraising efforts and local barbershops hiring out-of-work barbers, the King’s Chair Barber Club has reopened. A young biker passed away following a collision with an SUV on US-1. The driver of the SUV was attempting to make a left turn when the front of the motorcycle struck its left side. The police arrived on the scene with their flashing lights and sirens as they worked to secure the area.
