Jacksonville, Fla. – Michael Gallagher, a former assistant federal attorney who spent seven years in prison for vehicular homicide in 2007, has been arrested again for DUI, according to St. Johns County jail records. Gallagher was granted early termination of his probation in 2017, two years before it was scheduled to end. On March 17, around 11:25 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop on a Kia hatchback on SR-16 for weaving within its lane of travel. On March 23, 2023 at 7:21 pm EDT, St. Johns County Fire Rescue responded to a call about a house fire in the St. Augustine area. Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-story home fully engulfed in flames. The homeowners were able to evacuate safely before the fire department arrived.
