In reference to today’s police presence in St. Augustine Shores, St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has released the following: “Around 12:04pm today, we received a call in reference to two deceased individuals at a residence in St. Augustine Shores. SJSO’s Major Crime Unit responded and an investigation is underway. Updates will be provided as appropriate.” This appears to be an isolated incident, no cause for concern to the community

People struck in the road in front of the Reef restaurant
Two individuals were struck in front of the Reef restaurant in vilano beach Saturday afternoon. Police had the roads closed in both directions, and it was noted that evidence markers were present at the scene. Another plane reported crashed in marsh near airport in St. Johns County
Another plane has crashed into the marsh for the third time in just a handful of months. News outlets are reporting that the pilot may have been upside down in water and possibly in danger. Later reports indicated that the pilot was alive and communicating with airport tower staff. There is only believed to be one person, the pilot, who was believed to be involved.
