An investigation into a series of construction site burglaries in St. Johns County has resulted in the arrest of a man and a woman. The burglaries primarily targeted homes under construction in the county’s northwest area, with thieves stealing copper wire and tubing. Detectives initiated the investigation after receiving multiple reports of these incidents. They identified several suspect vehicles and eventually focused on a potential suspect. Tragic ATV Crash Claims Lives of Two St. Augustine Men in Putnam County
Two people died in a two-vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and an ATV on County Road 309 in Putnam County, Florida, late Saturday night. The incident occurred when the pickup truck missed a right turn and was hit from behind by the ATV, which couldn’t stop in time. The victim was contacted by a stranger who claimed her daughter was in jail and needed $5,000 for bail.
