City honors Nights of Lights crew for work in the face of disaster

Over the weekend, the City of St. Augustine took time to honor their crews that worked tirelessly through this year’s intense conditions. Their effort was also much appreciated by the huge crowds at this year’s lighting ceremony, with school employees getting in on the ceremonies.

Let’s hear it for those who made Nights of Lights happen this year! After two storms, flooding, and extensive damage to the Plaza, it was not an easy feat to turn on the lights. With the dedication, hard work, and skill of many people, we will be able to enjoy the millions of white lights throughout the City this year. A very big THANK YOU to….
