Webb Simpson and his caddie, Paul Tesori, have ended their long-standing partnership. Tesori will now work for Cameron Young, the 2022 PGA Tour rookie of the year. Simpson announced the news on Twitter, stating that the decision was difficult and had been made after much consideration and prayer. Tesori had been with Simpson for all seven of his PGA Tour titles, including the 2012 U.S. Open and the 2018 Players Championship. Simpson has not won since the RBC Heritage in 2020 and has only recorded two top-10 finishes since. Tesori has previously worked for Vijay Singh, Sean O’Hair, Chris Couch, and Jerry Kelly, and each of the five PGA Tour players he has worked for has won with him on the bag, for a total of 23 victories.
