Pulte Home Company LLC plans to build The Landings at St. Johns, a development of 761 homes for active adults aged 55 or older, alongside another proposed development called The Landings at Greenbriar. The project would involve nearly 581 acres of land and $11.5 million in road and infrastructure improvements. The development plan would not take up any resources from the school district, but some residents are concerned about the negative impact on wetlands, noise, and traffic. The issue will go to a vote of the full board of county commissioners on May 16.
