A nor’easter caused erosion and damage to roads and homes in St. Johns County, Florida. The Florida Department of Transportation piled up sand to prevent further erosion on the sides of the road. The “blue house,” a home declared unsafe due to erosion, was also affected. The Army Corps of Engineers plans to renourish beaches in the area starting in late summer. Harley Davidson of St. Augustine to Host 2nd Annual Hometown Hero’s Ride
Harley Davidson is hosting the second annual Hometown Hero’s Ride on April 22 to celebrate a local business that has made a significant impact for veterans in the community. The ride will honor Horseplay Therapy Center and is expected to run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The parade will start and end at Adamec H+D of St. Augustine at 380 Outlet Mall Blvd. The cost is $25 per bike, and the parade will be police escorted.
