The Saint Augustine Ballet is staging an all-new Snow White ballet on May 13 at Lewis Auditorium in Florida. Combining local dance students with professional ballet dancers, the performance tells the story of Snow White and her encounters with a magic mirror and a malicious queen. The programme includes animal characters and the Seven Dwarfs, making it the perfect introduction to ballet for younger audiences. The Saint Augustine Ballet is a not-for-profit organisation that was established in 2010 and provides performance opportunities for dancers from St Augustine and the surrounding areas. The Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Society’s 34th Annual Conference will occur in St. Augustine on April 28-30, 2023, as announced by the St. Johns Cultural Council. The weekend will feature several programs about the Pulitzer Prize-winning author, including tours, lectures, and discussions.
