A barbershop in St. Augustine had to be gutted and renovated after a fire in December left the whole shop destroyed. The barbers were left without equipment and work during the holiday season, but thanks to fundraising efforts and local barbershops hiring out-of-work barbers, the King’s Chair Barber Club has reopened. The barbers now have new equipment and workstations, and the shop itself has a bigger workspace and new features. Despite the changes, the barbershop continues to serve loyal clients and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
