A new Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World may be coming to St. Johns County, based on plans filed with the Growth Management Department. The 100,000-square-foot store will feature a boat display, outdoor boat showroom, and displays for ATVs, kayaks, and more. The store will be located on 18 acres just south of a new Costco Wholesale Club along World Commerce Parkway in St. Augustine. Bass Pro Shops is a national retailer of outdoor gear and apparel with over 200 stores across North America. The company had previously planned to open a store in Durbin Park East, but those plans fell through.
