New Florida Laws to Come into Effect from July 1
Over 200 new laws will take effect in St. Johns County starting Saturday. The laws cover a wide range of topics including education, taxes, and immigration. Notable laws include a $116.5 billion budget for the upcoming fiscal year, an expansion of taxpayer-funded vouchers to all students in Florida, and restrictions on teaching about sexual orientation and gender identity.
