One person was injured and another person was arrested following a violent incident on Rattlesnake Island in St. Johns County on Sunday afternoon.
The injured individual was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Peret Pass.
As of Sunday night, no further details have been provided regarding the nature of the incident.
Law enforcement officials were observed in the water near Rattlesnake Island in the aftermath of the event.
