The Brown Family YMCA’s Outdoor Pickleball Center in St. Johns County is set to have its grand opening on Tuesday, according to a post on the First Coast YMCA’s Instagram page. The courts will be available for open play on various dates and times throughout the month of July, with no reservations required. Beginner/intro classes will also be offered on specific days, led by a Pickleball Pro. Courts 1 and 2 will be designated for beginners/instruction, while Courts 3-5 will be for open play. St. Augustine Doctor Faces Trial for Sex-for-Pills
Jury selection began on Friday in the federal case against a St. Augustine doctor, Scott Hollington, who is accused of trading sex for drugs. Hollington is facing 20 criminal counts, including conspiracy, unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, and obstruction of justice.
