A massive fire has destroyed part of the Atlantic Beach and Tennis Club in St. Augustine Beach, Florida. The club, owned by Bill Brothers for over three decades, offers tennis courts, pools, workout spaces, and a family environment to its members. The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m., with large flames and smoke visible upon the arrival of the St. Johns County Fire Rescue. The firefighters used multiple water supplies to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the St. Johns County Fire Marshal and the Florida State Fire Marshal. Despite the destruction, club members and the owner are optimistic about rebuilding the club.
