A permit was issued by St. Johns County on June 5 for the construction of a Texas Roadhouse restaurant at 410 Outlet Mall Blvd. in St. Augustine. The contracting company, Buffalo Construction Inc., based in Louisville, Kentucky, will oversee the building project, which is estimated to cost $905,942. The restaurant, spanning almost 8,000 square feet, is expected to accommodate 322 seats and will be located on a 2.06-acre outparcel at Outlet Mall Boulevard and Outlet Centre Drive within the St. Augustine Outlets complex. The establishment will offer full-service dining with 290 seats indoors and an additional 32 seats on the patio. The project includes the provision of 147 parking spaces. Atwell LLC, based in Marietta, Georgia, will serve as the civil engineer for the development. Texas Roadhouse, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, is the developer for this venture. The property is owned by LVP St. Augustine Outlets LLC, situated in Vauxhall, New Jersey. The developer, Lightstone, has plans to revitalize the site of the former mall located on the eastern side of Interstate 95.
