The study found that Jacksonville has an average of 10.9 driving deaths per 100,000 residents each year, which is 165% higher than the national average. Additionally, the city experiences 120 days of rainfall per year, making driving conditions less safe. Florida as a whole has the worst drivers in the US, with one in five drivers uninsured. Aiden Fucci Receives Life Sentence for Fatal Stabbing of St. Johns Teen
Aiden Fucci, a 16-year-old boy, has been sentenced to life in prison for the first- degree murder of his 13-year-old classmate, Tristyn Bailey, in St. Johns County, Florida. Lanes of U.S. Highway 1 in St. Johns County, Florida were closed due to a plane crash on Thursday night. The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office posted the information on their official Facebook page, but did not provide additional details. Multiple sources reported that two people and a dog were on board the plane, which crashed in a wooded area. There were injuries, but the extent is unknown.
