St. Augustine Firefighters Rescued Kitten Trapped Inside Car

Firefighters from Station 7 in St. Augustine Beach performed a brave rescue of a kitten on Thursday. A local resident approached the firefighters, informing them that she had heard the cries of a kitten stuck near the gas tank of her car while walking along the beach after work. Cory Mayo and Josh Romaine worked diligently for approximately 40 minutes to rescue the frightened kitten, luckily without any injuries.
