Baptist & Wolfson to Build Emergency Room & Imaging Center in St. Augustine

Baptist Health is building a new emergency room and imaging center on the site of the former St. Augustine Outlet Mall in Florida. The facility will offer separate emergency services for adults and children and will be the only state-designated pediatric trauma center in Northeast Florida. The center will also provide X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, mammography, and bone density screenings. The project, which is being built on 8.5 acres, will cost $28.5 million and is expected to open in the spring of 2024. The hospital has also bought additional land for expansion. Crews in Vilano Beach Work to Prevent Flooding on A1A during First Alert Weather Day

A nor’easter is causing strong winds, heavy rain, and flooding in Northeast Florida, leading to several ramp closures at St. Johns County beaches. A rip current warning is also in effect for most beaches. The storm is expected to continue throughout the day, with wind gusts reaching 30-45 mph at the coast and 20-30 mph inland. Treace to Build-Out Second Floor at Nocatee HQ After Receiving City Permit

Treace Medical Concepts Inc. is building-out about 31,000 square feet on the second floor of its four-story headquarters building in Nocatee, Florida. The project cost is $2.34 million, and Tenant Contractors Inc. is the builder. Treace previously leased 23,060 square feet for its headquarters in Nocatee, and the company entered into a 10-year triple-net lease agreement for a new 125,562-square-foot headquarters building in Ponte Vedra. Treace Medical Concepts completed its initial public offering in April 2021 and priced a secondary offering of about 4.8 million shares in February 2023 at $21 each.
