Friends and Family Gather to Witness Historic Coronation at St. Augustine Pub

A coronation ceremony took place for King Charles III and Queen Camilla and was watched by a worldwide audience. In Northeastern part of the country, the Kings Head British Pub in St. Augustine held an English Afternoon Cream Tea where people enjoyed traditional food like egg and cress, scones, and cake. The event was attended by people who were unable to witness the coronation in London, like Debra Veenema and Deborah Turner, who celebrated with others at the pub. The last coronation took place 70 years ago when Queen Elizabeth II took the throne.
