The Coast Guard provided assistance to three individuals on Saturday after their 30-foot sailing vessel experienced mechanical issues near Vilano Beach. According to the Coast Guard, they received a distress call from the three people on board the disabled vessel. Responding promptly, a response boat was dispatched to their location. Once on scene, Coast Guard crew members assessed the situation and determined that the sailing vessel was unable to proceed on its own due to mechanical problems. Anfernee Wilson Found Guilty in Double Murder of St. Augustine Couple
Anfernee Wilson has been found guilty on all charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, by a jury in a St. Johns County courtroom. The case involved Wilson being accused of shooting 16-year-old Sydnie Rounsville and 21-year-old Kyle Stein while they were inside a truck at the Florida Club condominiums. According to the arrest report, witnesses stated that on October 6, just before 6:30 p.m., they observed a black pickup truck speeding through the parking lot with a man chasing after it, holding a gun.
